Content Learning Cell Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

As the Headteacher of Archers Brook SEBD Residential School I am in an especially privileged position and always feel honoured to share our school vision. This school community offers quality support for children and young people with a range of complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties often linked with medical conditions such as ADHD or communication needs associated with ASD.
Specialist staff provide well structured, supportive and tailored learning pathways in a dynamic and
caring atmosphere.

Our pupils are able to learn and grow into their potential. We believe it is our responsibility to work with parents and carers to maximise life chances for all of our pupils. We have strong expectations of behaviour in order to develop a strong sense of community and wellbeing in all of our pupils. Community sense and pride in our school is a driver for all that we do.

Through our additional curriculum, PSD and our extended day offer the staff at Archers Brook ensure that pupils are nurtured as individuals and prepared for adult life, giving them plenty of opportunities to build a strong skills base with which to become the successful adults they deserve to be.

The challenging curriculum is well designed and recognises the needs of all of learners in well resourced facilities.

Our school’s location - so close to the Welsh Borders, The city of Chester and the Wirral Peninsula enriches our already extensive curriculum offer; we regularly enjoy Outdoor education and explore the natural history of the area.

I feel that I have offered you an idea of the provision we offer and how we present our pupils with an ongoing wide range of challenges in education and life skills. I invite you to read further and learn more about our outstanding school community.
