Peacehaven Infant School

Peacehaven Infant SEN Facility is located in Peacehaven Infant School and provides support to infant-aged children who have recognized speech, language and communication difficulties. The Facility serves the primary and infant schools of Peacehaven, Telscombe and Newhaven. The SEN Facility at Hoddern Junior School provides equivalent support for junior-aged children (key stage 2). Children do not have to attend either Peacehaven Infant School or Hoddern Junior School to access this support. 

The Facility staff provide support and advice to teachers and teaching assistants in the children’s schools. We also work directly with children in their schools or within the Facility class base. The focus of the support provided by the Facility is upon children’s understanding and use of spoken language. 

All children on the Facility caseload are referred by their home school, the speech and language therapy service and/or the early years service. If you would like any further information about the SEN Facility please contact either Kathy Gibbs or Simeon Elliott (01273 583310 x 4).
